Pastor Ken Carter

Ken Carter is a dynamic evangelist with close ties to the Southern Baptist Convention, Promise Keepers, and Focus on the Family, as well as , a partnership with churches throughout the world.

As the area Director for Promise Keepers , Ken developed a passion for serving Pastors. Ken stated that" he was especially impacted by John Maxwell's Ministry and John's heart for Pastors. John's insights compelled Ken to take a greater responsibility for the Pastors in his life."

Ken started the "EXPERIENCING GOD'S POWER" Prayer Ministry with his wife Janet in their home church. In just the first year, great things happened:

* Over 200 People were baptized

* Many people were healed

* Tithing tripled

* Sunday School doubled

* Two additional services were started

* Additional staff were hired

* A $3.5 million building project was started

Ken's ministry also extends to several other countries. As an evangelist, he has preached crusades in several countries. He has partnerships with several churches and missionaries throughout the world.

Several times a year , John 17:18 Ministries takes lay people and Pastors from the U.S. on short term mission trips to these countries.

Ken preaches and teaches throughout the United States and also in his home town, Ken and his wife Janet head a Coats for Kids Campaign that furnishes winter coats for needy children. And at Christmas time they have an outreach to needy Hispanic children called Father Christmas where they play Santa Claus and share the Joy of JESUS

Ken was State Coordinator for The National Day of Prayer, a ministry of Focus on the Family.

Ken was Past President of The South Carolina Southern Baptist Evangelists.

Ken is endorsed by the North American Mission Board, SBC
